About Our Founders
Founder and CEO of Peachy, Michelle Bourke has over a decade of leadership experience across the public and private sector both client side and as a senior consultant.
A Board Director of Australia’s largest technology focused startup community, Startup Victoria and Business Advisory Group member of the Australian Computer Society, Michelle is a sought after technology and marketing speaker, panelist and government advisor. Michelle is also the founding lead of Female Founders, which has been responsible for Victorian women founders raising over $8m in investment funds.
Our CMO is a true digital marketing veteran. With a BA in Journalism and an M.B.A from the University of Missouri, Chris has worked with start ups and small business all the way up to leading teams of over 70 search marketers at some of America’s largest retailers including heading up search at Target US.
Client side, key achievements include the re-platform and build one of the largest eCommerce sites in the world (Target.com), also delivering increase in digital revenue for Target (from search, CRO and paid digital) of $315 million US over 3 years. Working agency side at Goodby, Chris’ teams managed $70mil in annual ad spend for some of the worlds most loved brands including Apple, Toyota, Ford, Haagen-Dazs and Adobe.
Chris is a sought after speaker across the US as an expert on search marketing and has presented at SMX West, SMX Advanced, SXSW Digital, Conductor C3 and many more.
Simon graduated from RMIT’s audio production course in 2000, working as professional music producer and lecturer at RMIT for the past decade. Responsible for discovering and producing winner of the Telstra Road To Discovery, producing the Aria nominated work of Comedy legend Sammy J and music for the award winning Jonah from Tonga and J’Amie Private School Girl. Clients include Sony, HBO, Universal, Mushroom and more.
With a solid background in music engineering, Simon is also a Ruby developer along with other successful entrepreneurial pursuits including the highly popular digital downloads ecommerce startup Indiedrums.com which produces high quality drum samples, many of which have been used by some of Europe and USA’s top music producers.
Simon was also a founding committee member of Startup Victoria, which is now the largest tech startup community in Victoria, boasting over 10,000 members.
